Prohibit mining activities on Hood Canal
We urge you to amend the current preliminary draft shoreline master plan to prohibit
mining activities on the shoreline of the Hood Canal. In our opinion this will lead to
intensive land use and development of the shoreline including mining activities, conveyor
belts, piers and barges which will harm and endanger the environment of an all ready
fragile ecosystem.
