It is clearly a nod to the Fred Hill "Pit to Pier" project. It is sad to think that trusted officials and persons whose salaries are paid with our taxes are so easily influenced by special interest groups. Maybe it would be a good idea to check which administration is in the White House and get a check on the direction this country wants to head. Please take the time to review the content language referring to those permitted uses that put in jeopardy the well defined goals to keep our Waters from becoming even more polluted for good of our environment that we will leave to our children. Thank You. John Penny 1/26/2009
