SubJect: amend shoreline draft for hood canal
Jefferson County Planning Department,
PLEASE help save our beautiful Hood Canal. Please amend the current preliminary shoreline draft for the master
plan for hood canal and to prohibit mining activities on the shoreline. This is a very sensitive area and already in
danger with the loss of fish population, pollution and logging that has been going on for years. We can't afford to
have a mining industry with a conveyor belt and huge shoreline structure and barges not only to cause harm to
the canal but possibilities to harm the bridge too. The shoreline is very sensitive with marine life, fish, eagles and
should not be turned into an industrial area. Please Amend.
