To my knowledge the permit is still pending and the department has required native species only along with over $2,000 in plans, consultation. Please keep in mind the area before all this was crab grass, and two dead fruit trees, no bigger than 10x20. Now I hear you may allow a business to build facilities to transport material from an area a mile away from the water front. I don't think that's native rock. Oh ya, how about the foreign sealife that attaches to the barges and then falls off relocating in our canal to cause possible extinction of native species. With this all said I want you to reject this idea. I guess if you pass this its fine for me to haul the rocky beach out and replace with sand from my kids sandbox so they don't cut their little feet with the barnacles while playing in the water.
