Sirs, I urge you to immediately act to amend the Shoreline Management Act to PROHIBIT mining activities on the
shoreline of Hood Canal. The costs to YOU and all the citizens of Jefferson County as well as the state of
Washington are much too great to even consider such activities as mining on the shoreline. The destruction to
Hood Canal would be IMMENSE and we will ALL pay for it in our life timel Stop mining activities NOW or PAY for
the destruction of the Canal for the rest of your life and the life of all of your children I (What are you thinking?).
