To the Jefferson County Planning Commission:
My family has owned property in Thorndyke Bay since 1904. My Father, William
McKay and Grandfather, John McKay would be devastated by what is happening
within Jefferson county politics. Hood Canal is a wonderful waterway that is
enjoyed by land owners and visitors alike. We should be protecting it. I strongly
urge your commission to amend the current preliminary draft shoreline master
plan to prohibit mining activities on Hood Canal.
