The draft SMP is acceptable aside from two proposals.
1. The elimination of live aboards on moored boats would remove a preferred lifestyle
which is a historical use.
(Is there another means in which to control this use while protecting the
environment?) 2. The requirement of helical anchors for boat moorings.
(Helical anchors would be far more expensive to install whereas the limit of 4 boats/
acre should prevent over coverage of the sea floor)
