Jefferson County Planning Commission:
I have learned that the preliminary draft of the Shoreline Master Plan allows Industrial activities such as
mining and commercial shipping on the Hood Canal Shoreline. As stated In the past by the Shorelines
Hearing Board, this sort of activity should not be permitted on this waterway. I urge you to revise the
Master Plan to prohibit Industrialization of shorelines of state-wide significance.
