The entire Hood Canal shoreline is "Shoreline of State-wide Significance." In the 1970's the Shorelines Hearings Board overturn such an operation at the mouth of the Hamma Hamma River in Mason County citing it was incompatible with the present shoreline of state-wide significance. It not only intrudes on the natural beauty, it can not but help degrade water quality. Please amend your Shoreline Master Plan to prohibit this kind of activity in concert with the other Counties which share the Hood Canal Shoreline. Keep Jefferson County green. 1/29/2009
