Dear Jefferson County Planning Commission,
Thank you for your work on the Jefferson County shorelines Master Program update.
Please do not reduce the size of shoreline buffers.
I think everybody agrees we need to take action to stop the decline of the puget Sound
ecosystem. Having adequate buffers is one of the most important way~ we can achieve a
healthier Sound.
It is the role of government to protect the common good. Let's do our best to avoid a
tragedy of the commons scenario and implement these buffers.
