Subject: Shoreline Master Plan
Dear Planning Commission:
.As I'm sure you are aware, our waterways are in tough shape. In consideration of the Shoreline Master Plan
update, I encourage you all to put the environmental concerns above development pressure, and model excellent
stewardship. In your update, Include language that supports the application of best management practices
including 150' setbacks which protect riparian vegetation, promote soil stability, and preserve wildlife habitat. You
might even consider the inclusion of penalties for failure to follow prescribed best management practices.
Thanks for all that you do to preserve, protect & promote our amazing community.
Sincerely,
Kellie Ragan
