Subject: Preliminary Draft of Shoreline Master Plan
Dear Planning commission members,
We're writing to urge you to amend the current preliminary draft shoreline master plan to prohibit
mining activities on the shoreline of Hood Canal and any other shoreline of state-wide significance
within Jefferson county's jurisdiction.
We must preserve the natural integrity of our shorelines. It is our gift and heritage, the reason so many
of us live here.
