Subject: prohibit mining activities
Please amend the current preliminary draft shoreline master
plan to prohibit mining activities on the shoreline of Hood Canal
and any other shoreline of state-wide significance within the
county's jurisdiction.
Protection of our delicate shorelines is critical. It is almost
impossible and extremely costly to restore compromised areas.
