please prohibit mining on the Hood Canal
Dear County Commissioners,
Please amend the current preliminary draft shoreline master plan to prohibit m1n1ng
activities on the shoreline of Hood Canal and any other shoreline of statewide
significance within the county's jurisdiction.
I have been spending summers at the Hood Canal for the past 25 years.
It has been a significant part of my youth to spend a week each summer swimming and
boating with my family. Please protect this vital watershed for our fragile marine
environment and all of it's users and inhabitants.
