Hello,
I am a local Port Townsend resident and parent to 2 young swimmers. We routinely leave our area to seek out fun and engaging aquatic recreation for our family. We often travel to locations
where families can participate in aquatic activities and programs, like weekends away for swim competitions, or attending aquatic facilities that have slides, swings, lazy rivers,
and climbing walls. Having this type of facility in our community is a glaring need. It would be an attractive amenity for tourists visiting our area and would provide a reason for
families to come and stay for a night or two by hosting swim competitions.
Please support the formation of the PFD to help build an aquatic center for Jefferson County.
