Sequim: Intersection of Whitefeather Way at US 101 closed through summer 2025
SEQUIM – The intersection of Whitefeather Way and US 101 in Sequim has temporarily closed. There is no access to or from Whitefeather Way at US 101.
Through summer 2025:
* Travelers will detour via West Sequim Bay Road.
* Access to Olympic Discovery Trail from Whitefeather Way remains open.
* Both lanes on US 101 remain open with a reduced speed limit of 30 mph.
The temporary change was put in place to help reduce the potential for collisions.
US 101 between Happy Valley Road and Palo Alto Road.
People are currently using a temporary bypass road related to a fish passage project. The temporary two-lane road allows crews to remove a culvert that carries Johnson Creek under US
101. A new bridge will replace the culvert and remove barriers to fish.
