Dear Greg,
As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to take a minute to share my gratitude for you - our generous community. Your support of WhidbeyHealth Foundation has made an incredible
difference this year in advancing the health of our community one gift at a time.
Because of your kindness in 2024 we’ve been able to allocate over 40 grants totaling $903,000. This included the purchase of an independent Hospice & Palliative Care building and directly
benefited patients while upgrading medical equipment and facilities in MAC, EMS, Family Birthplace, HR, Rehab and the Emergency Department. We’ve provided 34 patient vouchers for obtaining
mobility aids, acquiring prescription medications, and at home rehabilitation equipment and tools. 7 scholarships have been awarded empowering WhidbeyHealth employees in their pursuit
of professional development. The impact reflects the heart of Whidbey Island: neighbors helping neighbors.
One effort I’m especially grateful for is our ongoing campaign to bring advanced cardiac monitoring equipment to WhidbeyHealth. Your continued generosity is helping to make this vital
resource a reality.
This Thanksgiving I am reminded of the power of community and the impact we can achieve when we come together. Thank you for making WhidbeyHealth stronger and for ensuring high-quality
care is available to everyone, right here at home.
