MINUTES
Special Meeting #2
February 5, 2009
In the temporary absence of Chairman David Sullivan, Commissioner Phil Johnson called
the Special Meeting with Representative Kevin Van De Wege to order at 3:30 p.m. in Room 316 of the
O'Brien Building in Olympia. Commissioner John Austin and Clallam County Community Development
Director John Miller were also present. The following items were discussed.
. State Department of Ecology having authority to permit mineral extraction
. A bill to allow bids for new ferry construction from out of state
. Rain water collection legislation
. Saving local State Parks
NOTICE OF ADJOURNMENT: Commissioner Austin moved to adjourn the special
meeting at 4:00 p.m. until the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Jefferson County Commissioners on
February 9, 2009 at 9 a.m. in the Jefferson County Courthouse. Commissioner Johnson seconded the motion
which carried.
