Subject: Additional question for the December 2, 2024 BOCC Health Update
ALERT: BE CAUTIOUS This email originated outside the organization. Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them.
County Commissioners, Dr Allison Berry, and Willie Bence,
Please accept this additional question for Monday’s BOCC Health Update.
Dr Berry, would you please comment on a future possible risk of avian flu transmission between humans.
It seems like it could be our next pandemic.
I am basing my concern on these two recent opinion pieces in the New York Times this week:
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/26/opinion/vaccine-bird-flu-pandemic.html

Thank you,
Lynn Sorensen
