Since 1988, the Peninsula Trails Coalition has led the effort to achieve the Olympic Discovery Trail. Throughout those many years, our North Olympic Peninsula community has come together to help build, maintain, and advocate on behalf of the Olympic Discovery Trail - for the benefit of our entire region. This trail is only possible with volunteers, donors, and community leaders. We can't do it without you. We are better together. When we work together, this is what we create. We create trails. This year, we have taken on our biggest challenge ever - building the Hall Baetz Viewpoint, at the head of Discovery Bay. And it will help motivate further completion of the Olympic Discovery Trail! Our hope is that this Viewpoint will one day be a trailhead. We still have many miles of trails to build.
