PT Artscape made ornaments with kids under the heated tent at Tyler Plaza and Wild Rose Chorale was out and about spreading holiday cheer! PT Artscape will coordinate kids' ornament-making under the heated tent at Tyler Plaza. * 2:30 pm- 4:30 pm Photo opps with Santa aboard the Kiwanis Choo Choo by Flagship Landing * Community Tree Lighting: At dusk (around 4:30 pm) Santa will leave on the Kiwanis Choo Choo and head over to the Haller Fountain to light the Community Tree. December 7th * After The Treelighting, enjoy the Magic of Christmas events. Head to the Cotton Building, 607 Water St., and The American Legion for Santa visits and holiday fun hosted by The Magic of Christmas. December 8th Youth Arts & Crafts Market Support young artists and makers at the Youth Arts & Craft Market in the Cotton Building from 12pm to 4pm. Pick up unique, last-minute holiday gifts! Entries can be dropped off between December 1st -8th, 2024 at the Port Townsend Public Library. Contest Details: Prizes will be awarded in four categories: - Children 12 & under - Most Creative - Most Literary - People’s Choice Please provide your project with a family friendly name. Your “house” footprint (size) should be limited to 18”x18”. There is no heightlimit. All “houses” must be made from entirely edible pieces. Feel free to use real gingerbread or graham crackers. Entries will be accepted from December 1st - 8th, 2024. Judging will take place December 9th - 16th, 2024 by Port Townsend City Mayor, David Faber. Please drop off your Gingerbread House to the Port Townsend Library during library hours at 1220 Lawrence Street. Winners will be announced Dec. 18th, 2024. Soulful Abundance was born out of Jenn’s desire to reconnect to her artist-creative nature during lockdown. After decades of running an accounting practice, Jenn felt a need for joyful play and a passion for a more soulful life. Tapping into a life-long love of the metaphysical world, Jenn started creating crystal art and selling crystals on Etsy. After years of working from home and a desire to re-engage in the community, she opened the Soulful Abundance crystal store in the Good Templar’s Hall building downtown in December 2022, where she also runs her accounting and money-coaching business. Now celebrating 2 years of shopkeeping, Jenn is joined by her dog Sophie as she shares her love for crystals. Stop by for the good vibes and some Sophie love. Jenn has been a part of the Port Townsend business community for almost 25 years. She is the former owner of The English Inn B&B, and ran the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce from 2009-2010 and served on their board prior to that. She moved to California to run a Chamber, but could not stay away and moved back to Port Townsend in ‘16. “My love for this community is immense.
