Whales reside or migrate through most sanctuaries, from Hawai’i to Stellwagen Bank off the coast of Massachusetts, inspiring wonder and awe, and motivating us to protect them and their habitats. Unfortunately, the threats faced by whales are also a common thread across our sanctuaries, including climate change, human-produced debris, and habitat impacts.
