Here's the difference between government and citizens; formerly homeless Gretta works with non-profits to help homeless people meet their first major need; staying warm. She does this
by asking people to pass on used blankets to the homeless in provided deck boxes. This keeps good used blankets out of the landfill. It should be a national program. Gretta created
this program with almost no help.
Port Townsend City Hall is frivolously planting a superfluous and superficial flagpole (they already have both u.s. and Washington flags flying above front entrance) on a piece of unused
grass behind the building and the baseball stadium across the street already has two flag poles. This little piece of grass behind city hall is a monument to water waste. There is
so much water wasted the entire population of Jefferson County could wash their cars, their laundry, their dishes, their dogs, and there would still be left over water for every one
to take a shower. Citizens have a few choice suggestions about where to plant that flag poles. People like Gretta should wear the American flag, the are the American Patriots. Government
is consumer fraud combined with propaganda. No wonder people are so upset with politics.
