Your proposed shoreline property plan will make my property useless if my house were to burn down. I have invested in an expensive septic system to ensure my waste water is treated properly. I pay over $2000 a year in property taxes. I also own the beach and it is beautiful. The most damage ever done here is when they dredged the canal to allow boats to pass through the Port Townsend cut. The sand was not removed but rather dumped on our beaches. Please reconsider this proposal. It is unnecessary and very harmful to taxpayers who already pay significant taxes for their beachfront property.
