· Status of the Planning Commission process and strategy for review online at

· Planning Commission's next meeting is next Wednesday, February 18,2009. Agenda includes SMP
deliberations.
· 'Press release' information with highlights and answers to some frequently asked questions (such as "Can I
rebuild my home if it burns down inside the new buffer?" and "Are Port Ludlow properties exempt from the
SMP?" and "Do the new buffer standards make my property unbuildable?"). These are emails with
information in a bulleted format rather than the more standard 'news release' style. Related educational
materials are in development and will soon be distributed via this emaillist, posted online, provided to local
newspapers, etc. Two new 'press release' emails are online at
