RE: Transparency
Hi Larry,
At this time, work load and time/budget constraints direct us to focus on supporting the Planning Commission process.
We understand and agree with the interest in having questions answered and are working to provide additional
information to the Planning Commission, Board of County Commissioners and the public. We are developing a series of
Frequently Asked Questions handouts based on the public comment received. If you feel there are issues not addressed
by the public comments that still need clarifying, please feel free to provide those as we may be able to incorporate such
info into the pending FAQ handouts.
We also urge you to continue following and participating in the formal public review process as many of your questions
may be addressed via the Planning Commission's deliberations. Any request for inclusion on a Planning Commission
agenda would be best directed to us and the Planning Commission Chair Peter Downey at planning@co.iefferson.wa.us .

Thanks for your interest in the project,
Michelle

Subject: Transparency
Hello Michelle
Recent articles appearing in local papers have only served to cloudy the issues on the PDSMP. In the interest of
transparence and truth, I want to ask you and anyone you feel you may need to attend an open a well advertised meeting
where prepared questions will be asked of you and your group by a moderator, hopefully from the press. There will be no
bickering or back-and-forth arguing. I have talked to Jeffree Stewart and he is on board with the idea if you want to invite
him.
Basically, we will have a list of questions that the moderator will ask you. We will have a group of about 3 representatives
at the table. You will respond to the question and our group has an option of a follow-up question for you on the topic.
We simply need our questions answered so that everyone in Jefferson County can hear them.
We'll need about 10 days to get a site set up and get the word out. Please let me know when works best for you.
Perhaps we could use a time/date already set aside for a Planning Commission meeting.
