Subject: extension for study of SMP
The County website indicates the Planning Commission is wanting an extension, but there has never been a formal
extension. We need this, particulularly in light of the recent State Supreme Court decision against King County's critical
areas ordinance -- a clear taking, which the 150-foot setback proposed in the SMP is a clear taking. I think the public
deserves to have this 3-month extnsion and that it needs to be formalized and broadcast -- on the net and in the papers.
Today would be good - in time for this week's Leader. Barbara Blowers Sorry i missed the meeting -- daylight savings
time always gets me --I am totally NOT a morning person!
