"Likely" means we expect it to happen but cannot guarantee it. The Board has to receive/review t~e Planning
Commission recommendation before determining if they will hold another public hearing. We strongly suspect the
Board will do so, but have not been formally directed to schedule such. We're just not there in the process yet.
The proposed schedule online (3/16/09 BoCC mtg -letter to Ecology. page 4) shows this Board direction to staff
anticipated for July 20, with a public hearing potentially on August 17. These dates are tentative.
As to your question about other jurisdictions that have completed their SMP update, see the Ecology webpage at
