1. The latest schedule has the PC draft SMP available to the public on May 20 and opening up a comment period
through the end of the PC public hearing on June 3. No specific rules as to commenting or limitation on what areas.
2. No date has been set for the BMPR scoping meeting. The DEIS is not being written before the scoping meeting. No
particular rules on commenting.

AI, could you please help me with information about public comment periods?
1. When are the public comment periods for the Shoreline Management Act? I understand there are a couple of
weeks at the end of May. Are there rules about any of the comment (for example, comment is confined to
certain topics at certain times)?
2. Do you have a date for the scoping meeting for the Statesman project level EIS? Is the EIS being written
before the scoping meeting? If so, what is the purpose of the meeting? Are there any particular rules about
submitting comments for the scoping meeting and/or the EIS?
