Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's Ft Con's: This change order includes the changes from the original plan were done to 1) provide a drain to the foul air line from the biofilter system to the EQ tank; 2) add a concrete knee wall due to the change in elevation of the biofilter system; and 3) replumbing the drain line from the yard drain station. Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis: The amount for Change Order No. 4 is $29,269.49 (includes 9.1% Washington State Sales Tax). The contract amount will increase from $10,183,042.53 to $10,212,312.02. The project is funded at 100% by the Department of Commerce. Recommendation: Public Works recommends that the Board authorize Change Order No. 4 with Interwest Construction, and return two originals to Public Works for further processing.
