Members of the Planning Commission: Thank you for your hard work on the difficult task of
establishing a fair, comprehensive Shoreline Master Program that meets the need of the
citizens as well as protects the environment. I would request that you reinstate
language limiting building to150 feet from the shoreline and requiring
stricter regulation of fish farming. While change is inevitable the
continued increasing pressure on our shorelines must be more strictly regulated to help
protect this unique, irreplaceable asset that belongs to everyone. When conflicting
interests exist, the decision should be in favor of the most benefit for the shorelines.
They cannot be replaced.
Thank You for your attention
