I'm very concerned about the potential of another pit to pier project rearing its ugly
heard in near future. Please hold the line on preservation of shoreline on Hood Canal and
Puget Sound.
Please prohibit mining use and development, including conveyors, piers, and barge
loading structures on conservancy shorelines within Jefferson County.
Any shoreline mining-related activities, including crushing, screening, washing,
stockpiling, and loading on ships should be only within well defined high intensity
shoreline zones. All such activities should be prohibited on any Jefferson County
shoreline on Hood Canal.
Thank you for your stewardship of a priceless natural shore.
