Dear Sirs:
Those of us concerned with quality of the environment would like you to prohibit
mining and development along the Hood Canal. This would include the use of
conveyors, constructing piers, and other barge loading structures on conservancy
shorelines within the limits of Jefferson County.
Please restrict the approved activities, including crushing, screening, washing,
stockpiling, and loading of gravel to the high intensity shoreline zones.
