Dear Planning Commission -
I would like to ask that you please prohibit mining use and development including conveyors, piers, and barge loading structures on
conservancy shorelines within Jefferson County.
Please only allow shoreline mining-related activities such as crushing, screening, washing, stockpiling, and loading on ships or
barges within well defined high intensity shoreline zones.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
