Many people purchased property years ago with a view to building retirement homes. Perhaps a 150 ft. setback would prevent them from doing so. However, I also believe that 50ft. is not a realistic number either. Perhaps somewhere in between? The lots around the Cedarholm Villas tracs were originally designed at 60 ft. wide. Increasing the distance between well locations to 100 ft. would also make these lots unbuildable. This would also result in a loss value to the homeowner and a loss of revenue to the County in property taxes. Perhaps these items could be considered. Elizabeth Galeles. 1
