To whom this may concern:
I am writing to urge you to prohibit mining use and development, including
conveyors, piers, and barge loading structures on conservancy shorelines within
Jefferson County.
Any shoreline mining-related activities, such as crushing, screening, washing,
stockpiling, and loading on ships or barges should only be allowed within
well defined high intensity shoreline zones. No activities such as these should be
allowed on any Jefferson County shoreline on Hood Canal.
