We object to this and plead to you to change this and prohibit such development. The Hood Canal is in enough jeopardy as it is now! How can we even consider allowing the encroachment, pollution, and unsightly mining to occur on the shoreline? Jefferson County is not staffed well enough to monitor and enforce such development. Therefore, the selfish and narrow minded organizations who want to mine and ship from the shoreline will let the "horse out of the barn" and the County will be running behind to get it in control, but it will be too late! Kitsap County prohibits such development, so why should Jefferson County allow what Kitsap has seen asfoolish, objectionable, and dangerous to the health of the Hood Canal shorelines? We ask that you seriously consider changing this plan. Sincerely, Robert & Sheila Bosanko 147 Longmire Lane Port Ludlow, WA 98365 Choose the home loan that saves you the most $$$.
