Dear Planning Commission:
Despite our affiliation with the Democratic Party, my wife and I are strongly opposed to the
recent efforts by Jeffco Democratic Party to recommend that the Planning Commission's
reverse its revisions to the SMP. I can assure you that the Democratic Party is not writing for
all democrats! While we do not agree with all the current stipulations remaining in the SMP
Draft, the Planning Commission has done a superb job of trying to reach a compromise.
Please do not waste that important work by eliminating your revisions under pressure from the
Democratic Party.
