the hood canal is one of washington state's jewels. please consider, in jefferson county, banning
all heavy mining-related activities, and not approving piers, gravel belts, and any other activities
related to money-making ventures vs. this precious resource. the county continues to show a real
weak spot in consider to further permits related to this kind of business. visitors come to this area
to experience the solitude, not the havoc and assaulting noises and pollution barges and other
heavy shore-industry related ventures would lead to. this is dire, this is important to county
residents and voters. please vote with your heads and hearts to refuse any sort of permitting that
would lead to pit-to-pier activity on the hood canal.
