I urge you to take action to prohibit mining use and development on conservancy shorelines within Jefferson County, consistent with the action already taken by Kitsap County for their conservancy shorelines, including Hood Canal. This prohibition should include conveyors, piers and barge loading structures, and shoreline mining activities should be restricted to well-defined high intensity shoreline zones only. All such activities should be prohibited on any Jefferson County shoreline on the Hood Canal. Thank you for your consideration. William C. Rothert 214 Eagle View Lane Port Ludlow, WA 98365 6/1512009
