We strongly support the following recommended, proposed revisions to the Draft SMP: · 50-foot shoreline buffers in Shoreline Residential and High Intensity Zones; · Allowance of reconstruction of damaged property on the original footprint; and · Strengthened mining prohibitions. The Revised Draft SMP appears to be a common sense, flexible, understandable and enforceable document that provides the appropriate environment protections while respecting private property rights.
