RE: Shoreline Master Plan
Dear Planning Commission Members:
Thank you for all your hard work.
My husband and I moved here in 1995 in large part because of the environmental beauty
of the area.
We respectfully request that the Planning Commission return the stricter safeguards that
would protect shoreline habitat and water quality as the area develops. Please reinstate
the 150 foot buffers for all of Jefferson County shorelines.
We also do not support "fish farms" in our waters. We love our native salmon and other
fish and do not want to risk the diseases and infection that accompany these fish pens.
