Subject: Prohibit Mining Activities on Shorelines
Greetings: I write to request you prohibit mining use and development, including
conveyors, piers and barge-loading structures on conservancy shorelines within
Jefferson Co. Further, I request you disallow mining-related activities on those
shorelines, restricting them to well-defined, high-intensity shoreline zones, NOT
on Hood Canal.
