Subject: SMP
Planning Commissioners and BOCC
Again I will simply express the view that Jefferson County's rural areas are already over regulated.
* The property owners in rural areas cannot afford the fees required for the proposed SMP to be
administered
* The construction and real estate industry are already depressed, and these are virtually the only job
sources in our rural areas - the SMP will further depress this economy
* The lowered assessed valuations of waterfront property will only add to the taxes laid on poorer rural
homeowners
* The Port Townsend political machine has a history of economic oppression of rural Jefferson - this is
just another example. This machine is guilty of human rights violations!
* Why are outside forces like WEC and DOE allowed privileged access to our administrators?
* Why is an economically deprived county being used as a guinea pig, to set a precident for DOE to flaunt
at other counties - at our expense??
* Why is this being done several years before the deadline.
* When are the commissioners and administrators we pay, going to start working FOR
US?????????????????????
* When are they going to get the balls to tell outsiders to F#%K OFF
