I appreciate all the time, efforts, and frustrations you have to deal with regarding the Shoreline
Master Plan but I urge you to reinstate the 150" shoreline buffers for all of Jefferson County
shorelines. Doing so will decrease erosion, flooding, and polution, and will help restore our Salmon
streams. I would also urge you to reinstate the language banning fish farming pens as this would
help restore heath to Hood Canal.

Another huge improvement would be reinstating a ban on mining use and developement including
conveyors, piers and barge loading structures on conservancy shorelines withing Jefferson
County.
