One would allow homes damaged or destroyed to be rebuilt on the original footprint. The second change reduces the standard buffer from 150 feet to 50 feet along marine shorelines designated Shoreline Residential and High Intensity. We fully support this change so long as the areas that now come under these designations remain in tact. We own an unimproved frontage lot at Cape George in an area that is already highly residential and where we see no benefit in a combined buffer/setback distance of 155 feet. We also own and currently live on waterfront property on Hood Canal that you have designated conservancy. Because of this property's size and layout we would not be able to rebuild other than on the original footprint if it were destroyed for any reason. Sincerely, Dick & Lynn Bumgarner 35 McDonald Cove Brinnon Wa. 98320 6/18/2009
