PC 'd (02, f"" q \l',l Jefferson County Planning Commission hearing June 17, 2009 LejL: I Human rights must be protected by the rule of law and not interpreted by a faceless agency such as DOE. Man should not be forced to rebel against tyranny and oppression from a faceless agency of our government who wants to take land without reasonable cause. Begs the question who gave them the power? Where is funding coming from for another DOE boondoggle? Are they sidestepping our legislatures? The constant denial by DOE (and so called greens) of our role of human within nature is not only irrational but also inherently self-destructive. As long as we continue to die and decompose and are bound to eat, drink and reproduce it's foolish to think we are segregated from nature. It should not be us vs. nature it should be living within. Stewardship plan comes to mind. Contents of the planning commission draft go beyond the new guidelines. The guidelines do not say that a 150 foot buffer is required or designate half the shoreline as natural. Science is advisory to the policy! In some cases a conditional use permit for a structure would be needed from DOE. Is DOE setting up a new bureaucracy for building permits? How long would it take to get a permit? A year? Two Years? Meanwhile the money meter is ticking. Where are the tax dollars coming from to fund another misadventure by un- elected bureaucrats? Edeltraut Sokol 1005 Quincy PT 98368
