Dear John,
Happy New Year and a very happy and healthy holiday season, from all of us at the Sierra Club.
This is a time for gratitude. And I am grateful that the Sierra Club ends this year in a position of strength that we have worked very hard to reach. With your continued support and
partnership, we will be ready to meet the challenges our mission and our movement face in the coming year. Your gift makes all the difference. Thank you for investing in our progress
together. You can find more ways to support the Sierra Club <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=07598a39fe61a133bd0d404ccf9c7f6a0656cb147e256b221753207fddc2a04dab099c9baa7f3661f4431b663d2e7ad08

Past, Present, and Contested Future of LNG Terminals Along the Gulf Coast
As recently as the Obama era, the United States didn’t export any liquefied natural gas (LNG)--and today, the US is the world’s biggest exporter of LNG. In less than a decade, Cameron,
Louisiana has become the epicenter of the largest methane gas boom in history. Check out the multimedia article in Sierra magazine <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=07598a39fe61a13349167af76e

of the LNG export expansion, and how local individuals, community groups, and leaders are fighting to stop these devastating gas export projects. Add your comment to call on federal
officials to halt dangerous gas exports at sc.org/ban-lng <https://click.emails.sierraclub.org/?qs=07598a39fe61a1339ecec276b21a8bbddb93b17ce10c5660f0cc6ac90a8bde8ccb712aa3d60c30b83da4df59bb9e971495d

Preparing to Defend our Wildlands in 2025
As we look ahead, one of the greatest threats to our wildernesses is the development of the Willow Project in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska (NPR-A). The NPR-A is the biggest
unbroken tract of land in the United States—a refuge for thousands of migratory birds, caribou herds, and polar bears—and includes subsistence-use areas for local indigenous communities.

defend these truly wild areas.
Once again, have a happy and healthy New Year, from all of us at the Sierra Club. We are so grateful to have you by our side – especially at this critical moment for our movement and
our country. As always, please reach out with any questions or input. You can reach me at ben.jealous@sierraclub.org <mailto:ben.jealous@sierraclub.org?subject=> or contact Shabina
