The HoncrAble Board of County Commissioners met in the Commissioners' Room in the Co~t HouBe in Port Townsend, on ~~e above named date at trA hour of 10 o'olock, A. M. Presenta Messrs. S. Lookhart, Chairman, Roy L. Nordby ~~d J. R. Cousens. Minutes of the April, 1933 Sessions read and ap~roved. On Motion, duly seoonded, it was ordered that no Certifioates of Delinqllonoy be issued on Jefferson Oounty property during the ensuing year 1935-1936. On Motion, duly seoonded, it was ordered that the Assessor shell list all dogs in the Oounty ~~te!d9 the oorporated limite of Port TO~T.5end for tha yaar 1935, in Mess~s. W. A. Thompson and Ross Cooper, Direotors of School Distriot No. 20, aooordanoe with Chapter 95, 6assion Laws of 1936. Bond of Lena Fletoher as Justioe of the Peaoe, Hoh Preoinot, was approved by the Board. Bond of W. A. C. Coulter as Constable for Ircndale Precinot was approved by the Boardo appeared before the Board 10 reference to a bridge across the Queets River. On Motion, duly seconded, the Board reoessed at 12 o'olock, Noon, to meet at 2' o'clock P. M. The Board reoonvened at 2 o'olock, P. M., wj,th all members present. It b~1ne the tL~e and place designated in Resolution No. 81 for the hearing of th~ I sale of the property known .as the "Fair Grounds", and all tho Statutes haVing been oom- plied with, the following persons appearad to protest the sale: The City Counoil of Port Townsend, by letter, Sam McGee and Pete J. Naughton; Council- men, Col. R. A. Mitchell, E~ M. Starrett, representing the Chamber of Commerce and W. J. Daly, City Attorney. Mr. John T. Hunt, r'epr~senting Ed. lennel1: J o. H~ Fahy &.d Geo. Jones, spoke in favor of the sale on behalf. of his clients. On Motion, duly secondod, it was ordered tPAt the hearing be oontinued unt1l Mondgyl June 3, 19~5, at 2 o'olock,:F. M., for the purpose of ascertaining the reliability or the propoaad purchasers. On Motion, duly seoond~d, Chimacum Grange No. 681 was granted pe~m1ssion to h~ve a County Exhibit at the Western Washington Fal~ in 1935.
