F. !J.Iuok et al, pray.1ng tor a B1'1dge acrose t he Upper Queets River, connecting the North and South Shore Roade, and on Motion, duly Seconded, the Chairman of the Boa~d was authorized iiA to sign the following Agreementl AGREEMENT " WHEREAS, the County Engineer of Jeffer~on County, has completed prelim1~ry plans and speoifications for the construction of a 320 tt. clear span suspension bridge over and acro&s the Queets River in Jefterson County, at an estimated cost of $11,400.00, "hioh plans and apacifioat1ons a~e attached hereto and made a pal't hereof, and WHEREAS, there is cash available in the hands of the County Treasurer in the Forest Reserve Fund, the sum of $6,000.00, tor the preaecution of the work aj'or.esaid~ and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County will not disburse said sum of $6,000.00 tor the foregoing purpose, unless the whole of said project can be carried to a point or r~nal completion and acceptance in accordance with said plans and specifications, and WHEREAS, said Board has been advised that the deficit to complete this project, is the sum of $5,400.00, will be f\~~shed by the W. P. A. III II II NOW THE REF Q R E, It is hereby stipulated and agreed by t~e Board of County Commissioners for Jaffe~- son County, Washington, that should the foregoing plan be accepted aa a relief project by the VI. p" A., and an allowance in said. amount be made, and the whole of said project oompleted, whioh shall include all necessary labor, material, supplies and supervision, then, and in that event ~nly, the Board of CO\tnty Commiss1oners shall pay and diabur8~ to the W. P. A. the sa1~ sum of $6,000.00 from th~ monies of the Forest Reserve Fund . of the C~unty of Jefferson, State of Washington.
